Automated shopping systems enable you to sell products or services worldwide. We provide a fully integrated e-commerce software package that can be customised to cover all aspects of trading online.

No two e-commerce websites are ever the same as every company requires a slightly different system, however below you will find an overview of a typical application.

Shoppers Experience
Site users have the option of browsing for products by department, category or a dynamic search facility to locate the required product via a keyword and or a price search. The list of results consists of a google style pagination facility with clickable page numbers. Each result will display a thumbnail image, title, brief description, cost, ‘more info’ button and ‘add to basket’ option.

Choosing the more information option will take them through to a more detailed page displaying a full size image and more information on the product. From this point the user will have the ability to add the product to their shopping basket or go back to the search results page or category.

If they choose the ‘add to basket’ option the product will be added to the shopping basket and enable the user to change quantities required. From this point the user can continue shopping or checkout. If the user chooses to checkout the system will direct them through to the customer detail screen. If the person has shopped with the website previously they will have the ability to input their email address and password to complete the purchase. If the user has not shopped with the website before, they will be required to enter all the details including email address and password for future shopping.

When the sign-in or registration process is completed the user will be directed to the secure payment servers here they will be prompted to enter their credit card details. The system will then direct them to a personalised thank you screen which will display their order number. As well as this the user will receive an automated email confirming their order details and again thanking them.

Site Administrator's Experience
The administration section has been created to replicate the shop front and will be used to securely manage your products and orders easily via a web based control panel which can only be accessed by designated shop administrators.

The software enables the site administrator to fully manage all aspects of their online products. The system ensures that all areas of product management are catered for including the ability to add / remove and update product information in real-time.

Department and or category management ensures the site administrator can manage the departments and or categories they wish to assign products to. To ensure the site administrator does not require FTP to upload the product images to the server, the software is supplied with an integrated upload facility. This gives admin the ability to upload images from the browser. The site administrator does not require any html knowledge due to a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor.

All orders that are approved are instantly written to the database. All orders received are given a unique order number which is confirmed to the client on their thank you email. When admin has entered the view orders page all orders are displayed. Once admin clicks the desired order number the full information is displayed including the customer’s credit card, shipping address and order details.

Shipping management enables admin to enter a couriers tracking number and once the order is set as completed the customer receives an automated email confirming their order has been dispatched.
